Photo or Painting?

I’ve been tagged! So I guess I’m It! Hehe!
The ultra cool Leel over at Angels In the Architecture–who is by far one of my absolute favorite Lovelies on Twitter (follow her HERE!) tagged me in a PHOTO tag! How perfect I thought…since I didn’t have a Saturday post for Dirty Footprints Studio…AND..it totally keeps me on this photo kick I’m on! Hmm…maybe the Universe is telling me something!?!?!
TAG 911:
1. Open your first photo folder.
2. Scroll to the 10th photo.
3. Post the photo on your blog and tell the story behind it.
4. Tag some CREATIVE JUICY people to do the same!
THE STORY:
Well, my photo above was taken this summer in Sedona, Arizona at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. Hansel and I go to Sedona regularly…almost every month. We love to hike there, eat there, and hang out at the Sedona Arts Center. But in all our years of going there…we’ve never hit this place…mostly because it is just packed and crawling with tourists. That’s kind of a turn-off to us. Though, this time, we decided to give it a chance and see what all the fuss is about.
Basically…we didn’t bother going into any of the galleries, shops, and restaurants..instead we were both inspired by the actual architecture of the place. I remember taking this photo because I loved how the bright flowers looked against the stucco. My eye was also drawn to the pattern of lines and the rhythm of shapes.
Once again…like I talked about HERE….I naturally look at photography like a Painter!!..Go figure!
I TAG YOU–YOU’RE IT!
To join in this photo fun–I tag two very Creative Juicy chicas–that are both friends of mine, whom I recently learned are also friends (and they share the same first name…but spell it differently)! So will you join me in playing along….
