Here I sit in a coffee shop, simply waiting.

I can’t help but think of painting.

And making things.

And creating stuff.

And bringing people together.

And somehow being a part of it all.

How did I get so lucky, to be blessed with knowing my truth so soon?

How did the Universe finally decide that the time was right, and called together the stars to bless me with a landslide of courage?

Have I whispered thank you yet today?

Has that crossed my mind as I sit here waiting?

Well of course it has.

And I plan to show my gratitude minute after minute –

by not denying who I am

any more.
