Into Soulful Hiatus
Published on November 30, 2010
I’m still sick.
{I don’t do very well sick.}
I try to fight it at first.
Then finally I surrender and sleep.
I’m looking at this flu bug as a good thing. My plan was to take December off anyways. More of a soul hiatus. I was thinking to relax my writing schedule here at Dirty Footprints Studio….and go inward in my own personal life.
(Ok, the plan was to not write here at all. But that kind of scares me!)
I have a feeling 2011 is gonna be another cherry bomb of a year! I want to enter it from a place of peace, reverence, and feeling grounded and for me–I need some significant time to be quiet and still.
So, starting tomorrow I have a few things in store for December here at Dirty Footprints Studio.
First, I will be participating in Darlene’s December Views again this year. I feel that this is a perfect way for me to go inward–while still expressing myself. And, I’m not a photographer–so I love the challenge of trying to use this medium as an expression. Maybe you’ll want to join us as well? Click the link for more information.
Second, my beloved, dear, awesome FEARLESS Painters who have made their way through BIG (and many of them have signed up for DEEP already) have offered to share their Art and their stories on how FEARLESS Painting has changed their lives. These women inspire me. And I know they will inspire you as well. We are calling this little project: FEARLESS, We Paint.
Last, I will be writing about my experience of going inward and spending time being reflective this month in my FEARLESS Painting Email–and other then my personal journal–that’s probably the only place I will share it.
So, I wish everyone a beautiful December and a happy holiday season.
I will see you in the new year!
BIG Hugs!!
