Just Me

I’ve decided that this girl needs no more fixing.

I’m done with thinking that I need to always improve–

that there is something more I need to learn, to do, or to change.

I’m done with thinking that I need to get somewhere or

that something else is waiting for me to arrive.

I’m done with thinking that something…

even the tiniest, most mundane thing about me is broken, wrong, not working.

Instead it’s time to just sink into me.

No better. No worse.

Just me, the way I am–the way I show up–from one day to the next.
