Be Who You Are
Published on March 7, 2011
My dreads are a little over five months old.And they have taught me so much about myself.
About having courage to be truly who I am
To let go of having to fit in.
And to manifest compassion for those that speak rudelybecause they don’t understandwhat it is to be free–
To live lifeinside the expanding landscape of the open heartinstead of trapped inside society’s narrow minded box.
Be who you are.And be it fully.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t.Don’t let their stares or fair warnings discourage you.
You live in your world. Not their’s.
