I’m A Big Girl Now

Saturday Hansel surprised me by giving me a “Big Girl” camera of my own. You know–the fancy kind with different lenses and in no way you can use it to call your mama or your best friend with.

Honestly, I resisted at first. Too technical for this point and shoot chica.

But I’ll let you in on a secret.

I’m hooked.

Now I find myself pulling over in my car just because I think I can “get a good shot”. (Yeah my camera goes where I go.)

This one little tool has changed my landscape I live in considerably.

That’s all it took–and things shifted.

But maybe it’s not really the camera itself.

Maybe it’s just simply me.
