From Darkness To Light

A week ago today I graduated from my Yoga Teacher Training Program.(It’s still kind of soaking in.)
But one of my absolute favorite things about attending each of my Yoga Teacher Training sessions–and attending each of my Yoga practices that happens at my beloved studio: Yoga Purais that we always begin with the same chant.
Hansel caught part of it on video from my graduation–and it’s so beautiful I had to share.
asato ma sadgamaya
tamaso ma jyotirgamaya
mrtyorma amrtam gamaya
May this practice lead us from the unreal to the real,from darkness to light,from time bound consciousness to a timeless state of being.
