Slices Of Sunlight

Yesterday was a challenge.

Let’s just leave it at that.

But right around 6:00 the sun grabbed my attention.

It was.
Right there.
Outside my window.
Slicing the sky.

I forgot about my troubles–
And instead remembered that I was honored with another sunset.

I  was blessed to be alive.
