Subtle Beauty, Subtle Texture

I love it when it rains here in the desert.

It feels like the whole world begins to celebrate.

And as Nyla, Phoenix, and I strolled around the neighborhood–

I became entranced by the subtle beauty puddles make on the sidewalk.

Of course, immediately I think “oh gawd–I want to paint this.”

But I think the photos  do it best.
