I think I had one of the best Thanksgivings of my life.
Hansel, Phoenix, and I spent the day being lazy.
Watching the parade and the dog show.
Doodling in my sketch book.
And then spending our evening with friends.
Not once did I open my laptop–think of work–or make myself concern of what others were up too on Facebook.
Instead we just let life move organically. Naturally. Without struggle or strive.
I feel like it was a new year–a new beginning–a new space to allow healing to happen for all of us.
And for that I am truly grateful.
