Painting The Feminine :: The Journey

It is not until I actually took a photo of this journal spread did I notice that the two figures stand at a crossroads–they are faced with two paths. Two paths, which ultimately connect and create one path.
The beauty of the Feminine is that it is all about the journey and not the final destination.
Placing stress around the decisions we make in life, narrows our perspective. If we embrace the Feminine–we than give ourselves over to the mystery.
The medicine I received from this painting is that we never actually get anywhere. Because there truly is no place to actually get to.
The Feminine reminds us to embrace the journey….let go of the destination.
