A Few Quick Announcements

For those of you who don’t follow Dirty Footprints Studio on Instagram, you probably have no idea that I’ve been in Oaxaca, Mexico since October.  Do ya!?!

But that’s right! I’ve been here teaching my beloved Paint FEARLESS Mexico retreats, drinking in all the art and culture I can get, painting-sketching-painting-sketching, and loving the slower, spicy pace that is Mexico.

Plus, last week my husband and son flew down too — so it’s been loads of fun to explore Oaxaca together as a family as well.

Here we are at Monte Albán, a pre-Columbian archaeological site that is huge and wonderful and so much fun to sketch at too.

So my first quick announcement is that there’s still one lonely space available to join me at my next Paint FEARLESS Mexico retreat this January 14-21, 2019. 

Imagine kicking off the new year with a creative adventure jammed packed with quality time to paint! paint! paint! PAINT!

My second quick announcement is that two spaces just opened up in my SOLD OUT Paint FEARLESS Costa Rica retreat that is happening March 9-16, 2019 in my beloved Nosara, Costa Rica. 

At Paint FEARLESS Costa Rica we e are going to relax into our painting practice and allow the elements of water, air, earth, and fire guide our body of work and nourish our artist souls.

So, so, sooooooo good.

Wanna fill your creative well and energize your painting practice? Come join me this March 9-16, 2019 in Nosara, Costa Rica.  We are going to sink deep into our creativity and do a little painting on the beautiful beaches there too — (below is a video of my last sand mandala I made in Nosara).

My last quick announcement & the most exciting of all is that today the Painting The Feminine Fall Student Show opens!

In Painting The Feminine no two artists’ body of work will ever look or feel the same — that’s what it means to paint the Feminine.

For four consecutive weeks, painters from around the globe gather virtually to celebrate and express Feminine energy through a daily painting practice and visual storytelling.

Because this process is so personal, no student of the Painting The Feminine eCourse is ever required to display their work publicly. Instead, only the painters who feel deeply called to share are encouraged to participate.

Please join me in celebrating the 26 Painting The Feminine artists who have boldly stepped forward.
