The Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is a 5-month online intensive for painters called to lead others through the Paint Wisdom process that brings more confidence, meaning, depth, and magic to one's painting practice.

Here, painters will deepen their understanding of their own creative process, gather the techniques and framework to foster and tend creative community, and learn to design, promote, and bring a Paint Wisdom workshop of their own to life, not in theory, but by actually doing it.

1: Paint Wisdom Essentials

January 11 - February 15, 2027

In the first trimester, you'll turn inward and go deep into the Paint Wisdom method. Here, you'll get to know your own special recipe as an artist — how you relate to the creative process, and what genuinely lights you up. This becomes the lens you'll eventually teach through, not Paint Wisdom alone, but Paint Wisdom as it lives in you.

2: Crafting a Container & Community Tending

February 22 – March 22, 2027

If the first trimester was about finding your own fire, the second is about learning to tend a hearth other artists can gather around. This is the community-tending trimester where you'll learn to craft a container expansive enough to hold the uniqueness of every artist who walks in, while still weaving it all under one theme, one thread.

In trimester two you'll learn to help artists find their edge, and to let them stay there long enough to actually grow. We'll get honest about what really comes up in community and how to root your container in shared values strong enough to hold it all.

3: Creating Paint Wisdom Workshops

April 12 – June 7, 2027

This is where it all comes to life. You'll design and build an actual Paint Wisdom workshop from the ground up — three to six videos, PDFs, photos, written content, promotional materials, the whole thing. Then you'll do the part most teacher trainings skip entirely: you'll launch it, live, to your Peer Council and to me, on a real deadline.

Along the way you'll pick up the basic technical skills you need to bring it to life— simple video shooting, decent lighting, basic editing and uploading — nothing too fancy, just enough to get your work into the world. By the end, you won't just understand the Paint Wisdom method and framework. You'll have built something real with it.

GROUP OF KINDREDS & PEER COUNCIL

To make sure Connie can truly show up for each painter, enrollment in the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is held to 20 painters total. Within that, you'll be placed in a smaller Peer Council — a circle where you'll grow experience working collaboratively, offering feedback, and practicing teaching and leadership skills.

BRING A PAINT WISDOM WORKSHOP TO LIFE

In the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, you'll learn how to teach, lead, and foster community by practicing the Paint Wisdom method inside our safe container, under Connie's mentorship. The Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is built around three week-long online intensives. Monday through Thursday, you'll move through pre-recorded learning modules at your own pace, on your own time. Friday through Sunday, we come together live with three five-hour Zoom calls, each with an hour break, where the real depth happens. All Zoom calls begin at 9 AM (Los Angeles) / 12 PM (New York City).

Intensive #1: January 11 - 17, 2027
Intensive #2: February 22 - 28, 2027
Intensive #3: April 12 -18, 2027

These weeklong intensives are what make this training an intensive. There's something about concentrated focus and devotion, clearing the space to go all in for a week at a time, that lets us go deeper.

Between intensives, we stay connected: weekly 2-hour Monday Zoom calls plus a Monday learning module during the first two trimesters, and in the third — once you're deep in building your own workshop — those calls stretch to two and a half hours, so we can meet whatever's actually coming up for you in real time.

You'll also have four Peer Council calls, held on Thursdays :February 4th, March 18th, May 6th and 20th. Peer Council Zoom calls are NOT recorded, and being there matters — this is where you'll be witnessed, and where you'll witness others.

Want to deepen your own painting practice, and explore teaching

You'll want some ease with things like shooting video on an iPhone or camera, downloading and learning new apps, writing and sending emails, uploading photos, and creating PDFs.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is a life-changing process, one that will transform the way you live and work as an artist. But the courage and motivation to actually apply what you learn, in a real and tangible way, can't be taught. That part will have to come from you.

When you commit to the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, you are embracing your Soul Work in this world — and when you make a commitment like that, well, the Universe tends to have a curriculum of its own lined up for you too.

Things will likely challenge you, both in the content and format of the training, and in your day-to-day life. But with the support of Connie and this container, you'll make it through. Life is always happening for you, not to you. And you'll be supported, even on the days you can't quite feel your feet on the ground.

Outside of the training Zoom calls, plan on 3–4 hours a week in Part One and Part Two, and 4–6 hours a week in Part Three, where you'll be building your own workshop. This time is for reviewing and reading the content, completing assignments, journaling, checking in with your peers, and tending your own painting practice. It matters that you carve out space for this each week and that you call in whatever support you need to protect it. A babysitter. A new routine. Someone to help with dinner. And most of all, time to take care of you.

In this training you will treat each of your main assignments as your own professional offering to the world. We treat every deadline as a launch date, and your peers become your clients — genuinely waiting to receive the workshop they signed up for. We learn to craft a sustainable teaching practice not by talking about it, but by living it. You'll be a leader from day one.

And through all five months, the focus stays on what makes you you — your gifts, your talents, your passions — never on fixing or reshaping you into something more palatable.

THE COMMITMENT

The Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is more than powerful, in-depth content. It will expand the way you see yourself as an artist, offer you real insight into teaching, and prepare you for a fulfilling, sustainable teaching practice.

This is a process that asks you to show up and do the work. It's in the doing — not just the learning — that your confidence and leadership as an artist and teacher take root. So showing up is part of the container itself, not just a requirement to check off.

We know life sometimes hands us circumstances we can't control. If something arises, extensions can be made for those who reach out to Connie with clear, timely communication.

Connie wants to see you succeed, and she'll do everything she can to support and elevate your greatness through whatever hardships or challenges come your way. Being an artist and a teacher rarely happens under perfect circumstances — so whatever comes, we'll face it together.

One thing to hold close: the requirements of this training are part of what makes it work. They're not obstacles to tackle. They're the structure that lets the container hold. So Connie asks that they be honored fully, without exception.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

It is required that you have at least three years of art-making experience before you take the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, and that you primarily work in 2-D materials.

In Part One of the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, you will be creating a body of work that is self-guided. You must feel comfortable creating and exploring your painting practice on your own, without much guidance on what to create or how to create it.

You do NOT need any previous teaching experience to take the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training.

SUPPLIES & TECHNOLOGY

In Part One of the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, you will be creating a body of work using the art materials and substrate you resonate with the most. You have complete freedom to choose which materials you wish to use.

Throughout the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, there will be prompts and creative exercises to explore using an intuitive approach to painting. An art journal or favorite painting substrate, plus favorite mixed-media materials, is required for these exercises and prompts.

In Part Three, you will be creating an eCourse. To film it, you can simply use your mobile phone or mobile device. A suggested list of more professional cameras and technology will shared in the training. These products are suggested, not required.

You will also need video editing software for Part Three. In the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, we suggest and provide support for either iMovie or Filmora. Other video editing software may be used if you prefer, but we can only offer support and guidance around iMovie or Filmora.

The cost of the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is $4,000.00 USD. There is a VIP invitation and discount being offered to a select few. The VIP discounted price is $3,500.00 USD.

Because enrollment in the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is highly limited to 20 painters total, there are no refunds or transfers.

There is a VIP monthly payment plan of six payments of $585.00 USD.

If your payment fails, you have 48 hours to resolve it, or your membership in the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training is terminated and the full balance becomes due.

If you decide to quit the Paint Wisdom Teacher Training, your full balance is due immediately, unless another payment plan is agreed upon with Connie Solera.
