IGNITE | Virtual Classroom Opens
You will receive an invite to join the virtual classroom for Renew & Rebirth where a learning module will be patiently waiting for you. Inside, you'll receive an introduction to the newsprint practice, guidance on how to prepare for our weekend immersion, and everything you need to set yourself up for the richest, most transformative online retreat experience possible. OPEN | Daily Painting Invitations
Each day, a 30-minute pre-recorded painting ritual will guide you into the work of opening — pressing against what has held you, softening the walls you've built, creating the first cracks in the cocoon that's kept you safe but small. Using my newsprint practice, these sessions are medicine for emergence — stretching, pushing, making room for the wings still folded inside you. Here, you begin to open. Here, you prepare the way for what's ready to break free.

This day invites you to slow down and soften. Through guided meditation, gentle movement, and intuitive paint explorations, we’ll relax the grip of control and open into trust. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

The full cost of Renew & Rebirth is $698 USD. The early bird price is $598 USD and ends February 28, 2026.

All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, so please register with intention.

If a payment fails, you will have 48 hours to resolve it. Failure to do so will result in the termination of your Roots & Release membership.

CONFIRMATION & COMMUNICATION

Shortly after completing your registration, you will receive an official welcome email from Connie Solera. This is your registration confirmation. Please keep this email in a safe place. It is recommended that you print it out. In this email you will find the supply list and info on how to prepare for our online retreat.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What supplies do I need?

First and most important: a private, distraction-free space where you can paint, move, and get totally wild — weird, ecstatic, messy, and free. This is your altar. Your laboratory. Your container for the week. If you have an easel that can hold a large pad of newsprint, even better.

Second, after registering you will receive a welcome email that I go over the supplies below in greater detail.

Materials to gather:

Full Newsprint Pad – 18" x 24"
Canson Mixed Media Sketchbook – 18" x 24"
Acrylic paints – whatever colors call to you
Variety of brushes – small, medium, and large brushes for big, bold marks
Water bowl, paint rag, and palette
Painter’s tape
Wedges and other objects for mark-making
Adhesive (glue, glue sticks, etc.)
Packing tape
Scissors
(Optional) Roll of kraft or packing paper for layering, spilling, or sacred chaos

This isn’t just a supply list — it’s your toolkit for ritual, release, and unleashing your Artist Soul. Grab what you need, clear a space, and get ready to step fully into the fire of your practice.

Am I required to move & dance?

Yes. And no. Renew & Rebirth is a full-body, immersive paint ritual — your Artist Soul isn’t just in your hands or your head, it lives in your body. You’ll be invited to move, sway, stretch, and dance however your body allows, and to make sounds as part of the ritual.

You are not being graded. You are not performing for anyone. But if you want this process to unlock fully, to release what’s stuck, and to feel the fire of your Artist Soul, you need to show up. Weird, messy, ecstatic — whatever your body wants to do. This is where the magic happens.

Can newbie artists join?

Renew & Rebirth is NOT for beginners just starting out. This is a deep, full-bodied paint ritual that asks you to show up fully in your practice, trust your process, and move independently through your art.

To fully step into this experience, artists should have at least three years of consistent art-making under their apron — enough experience to navigate your own creative flow, take risks, and dive into the ritual without needing hand-holding. If you’ve got that foundation and the willingness to move, surrender, and push your practice into uncharted territory, this week will ignite your Artist Soul like nothing else.

How does Renew & Rebirth work?

Renew & Rebirth is a week-long paint ritual that moves through your body, your soul, and your art. You’ll need a private, distraction-free space each day to fully surrender, paint wildly, move your body, dance however it calls, and make sounds — yes, we’re gonna get weird.

You’ll receive pre-recorded painting invitations Monday–Thursday (March 23-26 ) to begin the sacred act of opening. Expect to spend approximately 30 minutes with each practice. You can schedule these practices at a time that works best for you.

Friday, March 27, Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29 we will meet daily on Zoom ( 9–12:30 & 2–3:30 PM PST) for a full painting day immersion. Please note we take a ninety minute break where I highly encourage you to plan ahead your meals and possibly time for a little power nap too!

A private classroom lets you share your work, witness others, and stay supported throughout the week. Show up, dive in, and let the process move through you — messy, raw, alive. The private classroom will open on Sunday, March 15.

What if I can't make the Zoom calls live?

Here’s the thing… Renew & Rebirth is a paint ritual first, not a typical online retreat or workshop. The power of this process lives in your willingness to show up, dive in, and trust the rhythm of the experience.

Monday through Thursday, you’ll receive pre-recorded videos from Connie that you can weave into your schedule however it works for you. But the live Zoom calls are where the energy really ignites — they’re best experienced in the moment, in real time.

If you can’t make a live call, don’t panic — just commit to watching it consecutively on your own, giving yourself the space to fully absorb the energy, the ritual, and the magic. That’s how the potency of this week flows, whether you’re with us live or on your own.
