The Good Girl & The Rebel

Good girls make pretty. Rebels make art.

7-Week Online Masterclass | April 20 - June 1, 2026 | Registration Now Closed!

I see you, my Beautiful Painter.

You know your way around the studio. You've taken all the classes and have a practice.

But something's missing.

Your work feels safe. Predictable. Like you're making what you think you should make instead of what makes your cells sizzle.

The ideas that make your pulse quicken? You talk yourself out of them. The mark that feels too bold? You soften it. The color that screams yes — you dial it back.

That's because your Good Girl has been running the show.

Good Girl & Rebel

And listen — she's not the villain here. Your Good Girl has been with you since you were a little itty bitty — keeping you safe, making sure you don't take up too much space or make too much noise. She's meant well and still does.

But the Good Girl and making art don't mix...

So in walks The Good Girl & The Rebela seven-week masterclass where the Rebel takes the brush and your Artist Soul runs wild.

Each week you'll try on a different trait of the Rebel — like a new outfit, a new way of moving through your practice. Taking risks. Taking up space. Using your voice. Stating what you love, what you desire, what you're downright sick-and-tired of. Standing your ground. Leading with gusto.

By the end you'll look at your work and think — what just happened? Who is this new Artist?

This isn't step-by-step instruction. This is a rebellion.

The Good Girl & The Rebel is for the artist who can work independently but is ready to stop playing it safe and start making work with real intensity, power, and soul. For the painter who's done waiting for permission to truly follow her Artist Soul.

The Rebel has been in there the whole time. Now it's her turn.

WHAT YOU WILL UNLEARN
  • Waiting for permission to make the work that's been living inside you
  • Softening your marks, your colors, and your ideas to stay comfortable
  • Painting for approval instead of painting for truth
  • Playing it safe when your gut is screaming go further
  • Second-guessing the instincts that are actually your greatest asset
  • Shrinking your work — and yourself — to fit what feels acceptable
  • Believing your flaws need fixing instead of amplifying
  • Reaching for validation before you reach for the brush
  • Making pretty work when you were born to make real work

The Good Girl & The Rebel Manifesto

(as in — here's what we're doing)

FYI: The Good Girl & The Rebel Classroom Opens Monday, April 13th.

Week One | Feral

Monday, April 20, 2026

We start by blowing the doors off. This week is about making marks that are gestural, physical, and uninhibited. We experiment with working instinctually and make beautiful chaos using simply our hands. No second-guessing. No softening. The Rebel warms up and we don't look back.

Week Two | Audacious

Monday, April 27, 2026

This week we get honest about subject matter. What do you actually want to paint? What themes keep showing up uninvited? What have you been avoiding? We stop painting what feels safe or sellable and start painting what won't leave us alone. Color gets louder here too — we push our palettes further than feels comfortable and find out what happens.

Week Three | Unbound

Monday, May 4, 2026

The Rebel takes up space. This week we go bigger — larger substrates, bolder compositions, expanded presence. We practice the physical act of claiming space on the substrate. We work with scale, with weight, with paintings that can't be ignored. If you've been shrinking your work to stay comfortable, that stops here.

Week Four | Defiant

Monday, May 11, 2026

The Rebel was never trying to fit in. This week we paint what makes us different on purpose — leaning into the quirks, the obsessions, the aesthetic choices we've been second-guessing. We also practice the courage of destruction — painting over something precious, breaking a rule we've been clinging to, making a mark we can't take back.

Week Five | Wholehearted

Monday, May 18, 2026

This is the deep work. We stop overriding our gut feelings and start following them. We work intuitively — listening to the painting instead of forcing it. We also get ruthless about what makes our work ours — embracing the flaws, the accidents, the so-called mistakes as signature. Your shortcomings aren't problems to fix. They're your style. This week we own the whole damn thing.

Week Six | Sovereign

Monday, May 25, 2026

No instruction. No hand-holding. This is a co-working week — but it's also a week of ruthless editing. You'll decide what gets finished, what gets painted over, and what gets cut. You'll look at everything you've made and ask does this belong in this body of work? The Rebel doesn't keep things out of obligation. Neither do you.

Week Seven | Seen

Monday, June 1, 2026

You made it. Now we look at what you created — together. We review, reflect, and rejoice in a body of work that proves something real happened here. This isn't just paintings on a wall. This is evidence. Of your voice. Your courage. Your Rebel. And the artist you became when you finally let her lead.
