Come join me, Connie Solera, in my private studio located in Peoria, Arizona for four days of mixed-media exploration, where we will infuse more emotion, expression, and pure poetry into our artwork.

Using a variety of mixed-media materials, techniques, and an unconventional approach to art-making we'll expand our mark-making repertoire and voice the things your Artist Soul longs to say.

You will leave POETIC with new ideas and techniques on how to loosen up, bring more moodiness into your artwork, create a body-of-work that moves you in a deep and meaningful way, and discover a deeper truth behind the work you create.

POETIC is for artists wanting to pour more of themselves into their art, while taking time to discover what the deeper meaning is behind the work they create.

All skill levels and backgrounds are welcomed and celebrated at POETIC — but at least one year of art-making under your apron and comfortability creating is recommended to receive the most out of this experience.

THIS IS A WORKSHOP - WE'RE GOING TO WORK IT BABY!

At POETIC we're going to make a LOT of art while engaging in creative exercises, soulful discussions, and instructional demos. I will share with you my own techniques and approach to POETIC art making, but ultimately this workshop will be about strengthening your own personal style and deepening your connection to your creative practice.

ALL SUPPLIES, LUNCHES, APRON, & DOGGIE KISSES INCLUDED.

For POETIC all you got to do is show up & bring your paintbrushes and a sketchbook! All supplies, lunches, and a "collectible" POETIC apron will be provided for you. Plus, my dog Rocket will be in-and-out to provide doggie kisses for anyone that's game.

STUDIO IS EASY TO GET TO - LOADS OF NEARBY LODGING AVAILABLE.

My private studio, where POETIC is held, is located in Peoria, Arizona which is a 30 minute drive northwest of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) and a 5 minute drive from the P83 Sports Complex that has loads of hotels and restaurants available. The exact address of my studio and hotel recommendations will be sent to you upon registration.

BASIC DETAILS

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

POETIC costs $1500 USD.
A $750 Non-Refundable Deposit will hold your space in POETIC.
If you need to cancel before November 1, 2024 we will offer your space to our waitlist and/or the public. If your space is purchased we will refund your registration payment minus a $250 cancellation fee. We can NOT guarantee that your space will sell.
If you need to cancel on or after November 1, 2024 we will offer your space to our waitlist and/or the public. If your space is purchased we will refund your registration payment minus a $250 cancellation fee. We can NOT guarantee that your space will sell. After November 1st, you also have the option to sell your space at a discounted price.
The final balance of $750 is due on / by October 31, 2024.
Registration is NOT transferable and non-refundable.
You will receive an invoice from us for the final balance 14 days before it is due.

Air, travel, breakfast, dinner, and lodging are NOT included.
You must provide your own paintbrushes, sketchbook, and collage ephemera.

CONFIRMATION & COMMUNICATION

Within 24 hours of making your registration you will receive a welcome email. This is your registration confirmation and contains helpful info to help you start planning for your workshop. Please keep this email in a safe place. It is recommended that you print it out.
IMPORTANT: All workshop information will be emailed to the email address you used to register with. If you require the materials to be sent to an alternate email address, please email Support@ConnieSolera.com and let us know right away.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel Insurance is a good idea for travel, especially when you’ve pre-paid for events in advance, like a workshop or cruise. Travel insurance with COVID-19 Coverage is highly recommended.
