Poetic

One of my absolute favorite materials to work in is charcoal. I love how gritty, soft, and expressive it can be. I love how it smudges and how you can take an eraser to it and dig away lines and pour in energy. I love to use it boldly like paint or play with it more like drawing. But most of all I love how it makes everything moody, dramatic, and POETIC!
