Apples

First, thank you to all the lovelies that left a comment, emailed me, or tweeted on Twitter to warn me of the toxicity of using oil paints.  You know what–I totally knew that.  I just somehow forgot—I forgot that painting with oils actually means liquin, turpentine, and who knows what other crazy fumey stuff! So thank you for caring and loving me so much to remind me!

With that said, here’s my third still life study.  This time apples.

I have to admit, this is not easy for me–and there’s quite a few times that I’m painting this that I wanted to stop and just give up.  But I’m committed–and most importantly–I’m learning alot as I do this.

What else could you ask for?!?
