My pod project  continues.

Since beginning it HERE–I have completed another 24 sketches.  As you can see above–starting with page 7,  I decided to leave out the watercolor and instead throw in some acrylic paint.

My goal is to create 100 of these sketches—but I’m starting to feel the itch already to get playing with these guys on a larger scale too.

Though here’s the kicker….I want to see this project through.  For years and years the pods have danced their way in and out of my creative endeavors and I’ve never given them my full attention I feel.  I want to do that.  I want to turn this into a project that lasts more than just a few sketches–but really see where I can take it–and what can be created of it.

I want to create a body of work based on these pods.

That’s it.  That’s what excites me about it.

So I am being patient and disciplined and just letting things take their course–all while keeping my curiosity.

Fun, fun stuff.
