My Beloved Friend

So it goes that every 500 years the Phoenix dips down to Earth, builds himself a nest, then sets himself on fire–only to be reborn again.

As I go through the chapters of my own life I can list so many pivotal points where I too have set the nest on fire–places where I have been reborn.

Change and I are certainly beloved friends.
