Today I am happy to introduce you to Ardith Goodwin and DeAnne Olguin Williamson.

As you may or may not know, I was an art educator to kiddos for a little over 15 years before pouring my heart fully into Dirty Footprints Studio, so I know first hand the commitment, hard work, and big heart it takes for this incredibly creative but challenging job. That is why I have a total soft spot in my heart for art teachers out there in the school system. Ardith Goodwin won me over instantly with her juicy photographs of student work that she shares regularly and then really woo’d me when I caught a glimpse of her bold and vibrant paintings and mixed media pieces she creates herself.

It is so obvious to me that Ardith truly cares about bringing creativity to people of all ages and I feel she is going to bring a real grounded, earthiness to 21 SECRETS with her Illuminated Mushroom workshop.

One of my favorite things to do is to invite up-and-coming Artists to teach for 21 SECRETS! DeAnne is definitely one of those Artists that I think you better keep your eyes on. She just moved into an absolutely gorgeous studio, has a brand new sparkly website, and her work is getting stronger and stronger by the minute! But most of all, DeAnne is an Artist full of heart and very dedicated to sharing creativity with others–so much so that she’s been holding workshops in her own backyard for quite awhile! I’m very excited that she will be bringing a bit of Soulidarity to 21 SECRETS this Spring!
