My First Facebook Live Was Tons of Fun! (So Let’s Do It Again!)
Published on December 19, 2016
So I did it!
I did my first Facebook Live ever — and it was loads of fun.
Being that this was totally new technology for me and I didn’t have the most ideal set up things went much better then I expected — and, as you’ll see in the recording below, the video showed a mirror image so understanding my four season concept takes a little mental aerobics at the beginning! But all things are figureable -outable. Plus, we got to do some FEARLESS® Painting as well — I went a little over board on time because of it.
So, overall I’m planning to do more of these! I really like the idea of having a weekly check in. A Monday boost to keep us all inspired and on track with the powerful creative work we are here to do — no matter what level of commitment you are at right now in your life.
Seriously, I know how easy it is to let the state of affairs in our world begin to wear us down and extinguish our fire. But now, more than ever, we need to stay strong — stay united — and stay in the creative flow. We artists play an important role in visioning and ushering in a new way of living, relating to one another, and caring for our planet. We are the ones we are waiting for. We truly are.
So, whatever we can do to stay connected to our hearts, steady in our creative flow, healthy in our bodies, and showing up authentically to our families and communities is crucial. Absolutely crucial.
That’s why I think that this Facebook Live stuff is so brilliant! It lets us show up in the here and now and be real. So I’m going to try my darnedest to show up on Facebook Live on Mondays at 9:30am PST / 12:30pm EST — let’s keep the momentum going. Let’s paint together. Let’s keep our spirits up and our hearts connected! Let’s create a web of love, light, and paint.
Great. Then I’ll see you next Monday, December 26 at 9:30am PST / 12:30pm EST. (CLICK HERE to see what time that is where you live.) All you need to do is join me over on the Dirty Footprints Studio Facebook Page. You might have to refresh the page a few times — but I’ll be there.
Now, until then — here’s the recording of today’s call. Enjoy and pass it on!
