Sick As Heck – But Still Making Art!

For over a month now I have been the sickest I have ever been in my life. What started out as the flu mutated into another strand of the flu, then shaped shifted into a debilitating case of pneumonia. Needless to say, I basically stopped doing everything — from working on my business to sharing on social media to changing my clothes or brushing my hair…..but, I still found a couple ounces of energy to sketch.

Hey Friends!! It’s me Connie  — I’ve been sick, sick, sick, SICK for over a month now (hence why I’ve been pretty dang quiet here on the blog and over on social media). I’m still not quite feeling myself but I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to my student and friend — author Carol Lowell.

I had the great pleasure of working with Carol in my mentoring program IGNITE in 2015/16 where she worked diligently on her latest book Soul Food. I also had the awesome opportunity to paint with both Carol and her daughter Marlee at my first  Paint FEARLESS Mexico in 2017.
