To Touch the Moon

For those of us that live in the northern hemisphere of this beautiful planet, tonight we were blessed with the beauty of a Harvest Moon.
So right around sunset I got in my car and drove to the mountain that lives at the end of my street.
I know a little short cut, so I could make it to the top of the mountain before it got too dark to navigate my way back down.
I got as close as I could to her majesty so she could hear me whisper my intentions and prayers for the new season ahead. Then I kissed her good bye with lips full of gratitude.
