I’ve totally fallen in LOVE.

His name is Akio Takamori and he is a contemporary Ceramics Artist that lives in Washington.

Yesterday I visited the ASU Ceramics Research Center and they had tons of his work.  And well, I’m in LOVE.

Absolutely swooning.

And glossy eyed.

In LOVE.

And I have to admit, it’s been awhile since I’ve fallen this hard for an Artist’s work–but Mr. Takamori…

he does it for me.

His ceramic sculptures are fluid, bulbous, BOLD, and just something about them that really draws me in–and well, LOVE them.

Maybe it’s because they’re like 3-dimensional paintings.  And let me tell you–if they weren’t kept behind plexiglass, I might have hugged each and every one of them.

That’s what happens with me sometimes.

I fall madly, deeply in LOVE

with Art.
