Each Sketch Is A Prayer

It’s already getting ridiculously hot here in the desert — so we make it a point to take extra road trips up north where the inferno hasn’t spread to yet.

While Hansel shoots photos and Phoenix plays, I love to sketch and take it all in.

I feel like my family and I come alive when we’re surrounded by nature.

Our dream is to move in a year to a place where we can be more one with the natural world — instead of having to save these experiences for road trips and vacations.

So every sketch feels like a prayer.  A plea to the Universe.

That the path to our dreams will unfold with great ease.
