#21DaysInMyArtWorld :: Smallest Painting

IMG_9602

This January I’m playing along in Tara Leaver’s #21DaysInMyArtWorld challenge over on Instagram.  And just for fun I’m posting my photos and musings here on the blog as well. Today’s prompt is: Smallest Painting.

Today’s prompt for #21daysinmyartworld hosted by the lovely Tara Leaver is “smallest painting” — in which I immediately thought of these sugar cubes pictured above.

They’re probably not THE smallest paintings I’ve ever created in my lifetime. (Please don’t tell the Art Police!)

But they’re definitely some of my favorite smaller pieces.

Each painting is 5.5 x 7.5 inches of yumminess and they’re actually demo paintings I created a few years back at my POETIC workshop I taught in West Palm Beach, Florida. When I was going through one of my “Moody” phases again!
